Robert Graebner, Chairman As chairman of The Information Store, Robert Graebner leverages his 45 years of experience developing seismic software and coordinating worldwide seismic data processing. Graebner's career includes high-level positions at leading energy and technology companies. He served as senior vice president at Geophysical Services Inc., vice president at Texas Instruments Inc., vice president at Halliburton Geophysical Services Inc., and chairman of the board at Reservoir Monitoring Inc. Throughout the years, Graebner has remained an active researcher and scholar. He currently holds an appointment as a senior research fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. Through the school's Bureau of Economic Geology, Graebner is working on a research program designed to create accurate subsurface images by using the full seismic vector wave field. Graebner also serves as a senior research advisor for the American Geological Institute. He has served on the geophysical/geological advisory committees at the Colorado School of Mines, University of Colorado, and Southern Methodist University. Graebner earned a bachelor's degree in engineering physics and a master's degree in physics from the University of Colorado. |
