Dan Schenck, Technical principal

Dan Schenck brings more than 30 years of industry experience to The Information Store, where he serves as a technical principal. Schenck has developed major components of iStore's AMS and JVS solutions.

Schenck's industry expertise includes serving as a senior database consultant for Texaco. As a computer geologist and manager of technical systems support, Schenck established remote technical computing centers for the regional offices of Occidental Petroleum Corp.

At the Petrotechnical Open Software Corporation (POSC), Schenck worked as the data model project manager. He presided over publishing the production versions of the POSC Epicentre Data Model and was the principal author of the POSC WellLogML specification.

Schenck earned a bachelor's degree in geology from Wichita State University.
