Brian Richardson, Technical Principal

As a technical principal for The Information Store, Brian Richardson brings over 20 years of exploration and production data management expertise to the company where he assists in the deployment of PetroTrek solutions.

Prior to joining iStore, Richardson served as a data management specialist for RasGas where he designed solutions for geological, geophysical, production and drilling data.  While in the Middle-East, he also worked closely with Qatar Petroleum to coordinate technical and project issues.

As a senior data management consultant for Landmark Graphics he designed production aggregation solutions and managed the implementation of drilling and geoscience information management systems for PetroChina.  Richardson also served with Schlumberger GeoQuest and Information Solutions in various management and service delivery roles throughout the World, including, Indonesia, Congo, Angola, and the United States.

Richardson launched his career with Amoco Production Company as a geological systems analyst.  While with Amoco he planned and implemented migration of exploration data, wrote information management practices and procedures, and participated in the company's data modeling initiatives.

Richardson earned a bachelor's degree in geology from the University of North Carolina and a master's degree in geology from the University of South Carolina.
